Frye boots are like the Mercedes Benz of riding boots. Simply put, this 23 year old girl just doesn’t have the cash flow for that. I have never been an advocate for fakes. You know, like the fake Louis Vuitton bags at the mall kiosks with “LY” all over it instead of the iconic “LV”, but I have to admit, I am not above look-a-likes.
I was finishing up my Black Friday shopping when I spotted some cognac knee high boots tossed among the shoe racks at JC Penny. I rushed over to the post apocalyptic mess and snagged the lone boot. A sales associate made my dreams come true when she told me they had one pair left in my size. SCORE!!!! Mine all mine! They looked so similar to the Frye boots I have been spying for the longest time.
Here are the Worthington boots from JCP that I snagged for $25 during their Black Friday sale.
Here are the lovely Frye boots that sell for $398. Why yes, I do love the weathered look of the real leather and I bet they feel amazing, but you know what I love more? I love that I didn’t spend $398 and I saved $373.
The boots at JCP are still on sale for $25 through Cyber Monday. Get ya some!!!
